Chapter 3

Camerson’s vehicle pulled into December’s drive way. He called her cellular device. December’s phone rang inside her jeans pocket, she reached in and grabbed her phone and looked at the caller id, it was Camerson. Her heart felt like it was gonna beat out of her chest, as she hit the answer key on her ringing phone. “..Hi Camerson.” was all she got out. “Ms.Juliet, are you going to keep a date waiting in your driveway?” Camerson was saying this with a smile, she could already tell. She went to the window and moved the curtain, there he was in his black Ferrari waving up at her. “I’ll be right there, let me grab my camera.” Faster than the speed of light she was down the stairs, out the door and into his car. She had never been in the inside of his car, and she just admired it. Not just because it was a VERY expensive car, but because she was in his presence.
“Hey beautiful, ready to go?” Camerson said with his dazzling eyes looking down at her. “Yeah” was all December could choke out. Camerson then backed out of the drive way and was heading down Maple street. They sat in silence for a minute. “…you think I’m beautiful?” December started flushing beat read. “indeed, fair maiden.” December loved how Camerson had always used words like maiden, it was so romantic, even though it just simply means an unmarried woman, but the thought of such a pretty word made her blissful inside. She bit her lip, an old habit she did when she was nervous.
They arrived in the woods. Parking by a limp looking tree that looked dreadfully old. Camerson got out of the car and was rushing to get to the other side to open the door for December. December was caught off guard. “Why thank you kind sir.” Camerson giggled. “You are very welcome madam.” She took her hand in his to let him help pull herself out of the sports vehicle. After out they just stood there with there hands intertwined. Then suddenly they both realized it and released each others hands slowly. “So why did you want to bring me to these beautiful woods again?” December was finding herself lost in his eyes. “Well, I knew you liked taking photography and I thought you’d like to come here to take it.” She knew she had forgotten something before she left. “Oh Shoot! I forgot my camera.” Camersons face lit up, with disappointment but yet excitement at the same time, he was afraid that she’d just want to go home, and he was excited because he thought she just might want to stay here anyways. “Oh. Well, do you want to walk around a bit?” December replied with a smile “Most certainly.” They started walking and they both had somehow found each others fingers, interlock them to make one. This sent shivers down Decembers spine. It was getting kind of dark, with the sun setting. They walked to the creek that was what there town was proudly named after and sat down on the cool green grass. Looking up at the sunset through the trees. “It’s…” “Beautiful” Camerson had finished for her. She lay her head on his shoulder as she felt an arm around her waist. They listen to the sounds all around them, the birds chirping, the water in the creek hitting rocks, the wind blowing through December’s hair.
Then the sun was starting to set more making it darker. December wished this moment would last forever, but she knew it couldn’t. She raised her head off of his shoulder and felt her body pull itself off the ground to leave Camerson still sitting there. She gave him a hand as to help pull him up. He looked up at her and seen her smile, and took his hand in hers and let her help him up.
She searched for his hand but it was already being found in hers. They started to walk back to his car so they wouldn’t get lost when it got dark. The wind blew making December shiver. She prayed that Camerson didn’t see her do so but he did and was then releasing her hand and putting his black leather jacket over her shoulders, she put her arms in it and took his hand again. Just as they got to the car Camerson stopped and looked at her. “What are you staring at?” She couldn’t help but grin at him. “Just this stunning, breath taking, girl in front of me, whom I really enjoy being with and want to be with forever more. A girl that I can’t help but to love the way she laughs, the way she smiles, the cute little facial expressions she uses to express herself, and her lovely personality that seizes my heart.” December was amazed at what these words, these picturesque words that were being said to her ears.
“A girl that I want to kiss.” Camerson didn’t have to wait forever December was already leaning in and touching her lips to his. Her arms were now around his neck and her fingers were brushing over his hair as he held her close to him around her waist. The most passionate kiss December and Camerson themselves had ever experienced. They drew back from there kissing. December still had her eyes closed, she was afraid that if she opened them it would all just be a dream, but she had to. She slightly opened her eyes to see Camerson doing the same thing. She felt the blood rush to her cheeks and she said “Did you really mean all those things about me?” Her smile was true as he knew because it reached golden orange colored eyes. “Yes, I did.” he paused. “ I have liked you ever since I have layed my eyes on you December Rayne Forkley, and I have always dreamt of this very moment that we just shared. “ Decembers mind couldn’t take in any of this, she was speechless with tears in her eyes. They drifted down her cheek. Camerson caught it like it was the most precious thing in the world. “Oh dear what have I done? Whats wrong December, was it something I said?” Camerson felt as if someone were dieing here right in front of his very eyes. He hated seeing her cry. “It’s everything you said, I have felt like that for you for all this time too, I was just to blinded to see that you might care for me too. I have never wanted anything more than to be with you.” December was saying this over sniffling and tears running to her mouth. The tears were of pure ecstasy. Camerson looked into those tear filled eyes and kissed found his lips on hers once more.
After they drew apart from the miraculous kiss he was now holding her, his arms around her body as if he was afraid she was going to get away from him. December had her head buried in between his neck and shoulder and her arms wrapped around him.
This was the happiest moment of her life. Camerson whispered in her ear “December.” She was suddenly awoken from her daze. “Yes?” Camerson took a breath. “What would you say if I wanted you to be my girlfriend?” December looked up at him and she just simply said “ I would wrap my arms around you like this, and tell you I’d be honored to be your girlfriend.” December had never heard herself so confident. After three years of waiting it was finally happening, he was hers and she was his. “Well that’s good, because I would be honored to have you as my girlfriend.” He took her hand and led her to the front of his car, where they laid and looked up at the stars. Hand in hand. When December heard herself whisper “ I love you Camerson.” When she heard Camerson giggle she thought she would regret it but then his voice cut into her thoughts and he said “December Rayne Forkley, I am utterly in love with you as well.” They just laid there until it was time to go. The couple was in the car and already down the road. Camerson pulled into the driveway and cut the engine. “ I really had fun Delilah.” December didn’t know why but she found it adorable when he called her this.
“I did to.” He leaned in for a meaningful kiss. There lips touched, at the touch there lips started dancing. She had to pull away, she knew that if she sat here and kissed him she would do it all night long. She kissed him on the cheek and said “Goodbye my love, tomorrow awaits us.” Camerson beamed “So it shall.” December was up to the door when she heard his car drive away.

Chapter 2

December was never too fond of bio. She hadn’t been paying attention at all, her mind kept drifting back to Camersons magnificent face. She wanted nothing more than to take her seat next to him in art. He was like her own personal drug. Without it she felt that she would depart this life of hers.
Soon after she took her seat next to Camerson he was already sparking up conversation. “Was Mr.Blig aggravated today?” December looked puzzled, she hadn’t been paying much attention but Mr.Blig did kind of seem upset. “Actually he was, why do you ask?” Camerson chuckled “Well, lets just say I let frogs out he was wanting everyone to dissect, last night before I left school.” He is a pure rebel, an insanely gorgeous rebel. That was all December could think. She was so stoked that he had done this. She couldn’t even picture dissecting a poor innocent frog. Plus they grossed her out.
“Why did you do it?” December gave her million dollar smile as she asked curiously. “Well I feel like its animal cruelty. Why should we kill something that has done no harm to us?” Although they were talking about gross slimy frogs, December felt she could talk about them all day as long as she was talking with Camerson.
“..but enough about frogs, what are you doing after school today?” Camerson took Decembers breath away when he said this. Was he asking her out? December stammered “umm, well actually I have nothing to do after school.” Camersons face lit up with pure animation. “Well I was umm, wondering if you’d like to hang out. I mean we could go to Misty Creek and since you like photography, you could take pictures.” December flushed red. How does he remember such little details about her was all she could think before her mind was telling her ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING STUPID!, SAY YOU’D LOVE TO GO!!!!’. December simply said “I’d love to.”
“Great, would you like me to pick you up, or do you want to drive separ-” she had cut him off “YEAH, I mean, yeah that would be cool you could pick me up” December was amazed at how stupid she had sounded.
“It’s a date.” December looked down at her paper. He said it was a date, a true date! Decembers’ mind was going crazy. She had to focus on her paper now, she picked up her pencil and began to draw. Camerson giggled. He loved the little look she gave when she was trying to concentrate. Her little tongue was touching her top lip and her head was turned slightly. Camerson thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. “what are you giggling about” December looked up from her paper into his emerald eyes. Camerson said with a smile “nothing, you’re just so cute when you work.” December felt like all the blood in her body was heading for her checks. She simply just bit her lip and started working again.
After school December was driving home. Hazel had put in an Ellie Goulding cd and they were singing in sync with her. “Why don’t you be the artist, I’ll make me out of clay. Why don’t you be the writer, and decide the words I say. Cause I rather pretend also be there in the end.” Hazel had a voice of a goddess when it came to singing. December thought of herself as a bad singer but everyone refused to agree with her. “so, what are you doing after school today Hazel?” Hazel was looking out the window. “Oh you know the usual, trying to convince my mom of something I can do with MY life, gosh she is so predictable, and dictating! Ughh!” Hazel and her mom didn’t really argue, but Hazel’s mother wished her daughter was “normal” what was normal anyway? December’s mind was trying to ponder up what it really was, because it sure wasn’t herself. “What are you doing to day after school Ms. Forkley?” December was almost shy to say this “ Actually, Camerson is picking me up once I get home. We are going to the Misty Creek, you know, the only creek in town by the woods.” December paused and thought about this. It was almost as if she were afraid. She had no reason as to why, but she was. Not of Camerson but the woods. Her dream had been in the woods. December shook herself, it was just a dream.
“OH MY GOSH! HE ASKED YOU OUT!” Hazel had a smile that reached her eyes. She had said from the very beginning that Camerson and December would be amazing together, they had practically been a couple ever since he had came here. “Well, I think so I mean he said, ’it’s a date’, so possibly.” December was blushing again but she couldn’t help it. She always blushed when they were talking about Camerson. December pulled in Hazel’s drive way. “Well my fair lady, I hope you have a marvelous date.”
Before December could say anything she was out of the car and walking into her house. December backed out of the driveway and turned her radio up. Now the cd player was playing starry eyed. December loved Ellie Goulding’s music, and just about any other music.Music was Decembers’ escape from reality. It wasn’t long before she pulled into her own driveway. She hopped out of the car and ran to go up the stairs just as she was caught by her mother. “Where are you off to in such a hurry young lady?” Oh crap was all December thought, all she needed was to be explaining that she was going on a date with Camerson. “umm well actually I am going upstairs to put my books and stuff away so I can get ready to go with Camerson.” Mrs.Forkley looked as if she were afraid to answer to her daughters question without her father’s guidance. Decembers mom and dad had gotten a divorce about two years ago and now her father was somewhere in Nevada with his two replacement kids. She rarely talked to him. “Uh-huh. And where exactly are you going with this Camerson?” December thought ‘Oh here we go!’. “We are actually going to misty creek, I am going to go take pictures of the landscape and stuff.” Mrs.Forkley just looked at her daughter. “alright, but be back before ten thirty, it’s a school night.” December thrilled. “Thanks mom.” and she ran up the stairs to get ready.

Chapter 1

December was driven away from her diary at 6:45 to get ready for the place she dreaded most, Misty Creek High School. December never really understood why her town was named Misty Creek.
It had a clever ring to it though, and she was fond it. December found it to be a marvelous name, very creative and sometimes she wished she had come up with it herself. She dragged herself to her closet to find something to wear. Her closet was filled of a neon rainbow mix , and dark colors. Band T’ shirts, enduring tutu’s, skinny jeans, shadowy tank’s.
This was mostly all there was to Decembers wardrobe. She wasn’t like the other girls at her school just wanting to go to Hollister and American Eagle. She was more of a Hot Topic and Rue 21 kind of girl. She picked out a pair of neon pink skinny jeans, a lime green tutu, a black and purple corset, black and white striped leg warmers, and grey converse.
December looked at her self in her closet mirror, and she loved the outfit she put together in the reflection. Accessories! She couldn’t forget accessories. She went to her dresser where she looked down upon her black safety pin arm warmer gloves, her bar ear ring rainbow color balls , and her red robot necklace. She positioned all her accessories on in there perfect places.
Now was Decembers favorite part, Hair and makeup. Since December was looking brighter than a rainbow, she decided to go with her manic panic eye dust colors, fuchsia shock and her electric sunshine. Her favorite eyeliner, pink and green bi-color. Lastly her violet mascara. She herself didn’t like to wear foundation because she had just about perfect skin. December couldn’t bring herself to making herself look tan, she loved being pale, so that canceled out her foundation. Lastly she chose to wear her sugar and spice lip gloss.
Decembers mother hated her hair, but December cherished it. Her hair was a bright auburn. She decided to tease her hair, and to put fuchsia lacey bow, to match her gorgeous eyes that were showing an almost orange tint around her pupils. She had been blessed with this beautiful color. Other girls at Misty Creek had false eye color when it came to Decembers color. Always color contacts, but not December.
Finally satisfied with her reflection she picked up her tarea perfume from Rue 21 and spewed herself in it . All of her outfit had came from hot topic today. . . All but her perfume.
Just as she was grabbing at her purse and keys to go downstairs, her phone rang the most excellent song in her phone, if it means a lot to you by A Day to Remember. The call was showing that it was coming from Decembers friend Hazel. “Hello my dearest friend.” This was heard on Hazels end of the line. “Are you coming to get me soon? Are you all glamorous? Because we have fifteen minutes to get to school.” Hazel exclaimed. “Be right there.” December was racing down the stairs to her car and down the road she went.

Later December arrived at Hazel’s house. Hazel was dressed in black skinny jeans and a white Paramore shirt. Her hair was and almost white blonde. Hazel walked to Decembers car franticly. Once in the car with her seat belt on Hazel was saying “Can we PLEASE get out of here? My mom is getting under my skin, she wouldn’t let me dye the tips of my hair hot pink and I am on the urge of grounding”. December had heard enough and was backing out of the driveway.
December had known Hazel ever since elementry school. No one really took Hazel seriously because she believed in supernatural stuff. Hazel had always been a little wack, but that’s what December loved about her friend in the passenger seat.

As they arrived at school December glanced out her window to see Misty Creek’s wicked witch from the west climbing out of her brand new Hummer her parents had got her for her sixteenth birthday. This wicked witch of the west was the one and only Chelsea Borgs. Chelsea Borgs has always been the most ‘popular’ as everyone categorizes her. She was a stuck up no good rich snob that never got along with December. She always thought she was better than December just because she had more friends, but not true ones. All these so called friends were all two faced and only like Chelsea for her money.

“Calm yourself December, she is nothing! Just think that you are at a Stephen Jerzak concert, and he just dedicated a song for you” Hazel was saying because she thought that December would loose her patients if Chelsea approached her. December knew better than to loose her cool though, she was the bigger person when it came to these sort of things. “Its okay Hazel, I just look right through her.”

December was at her locker looking down at her books wishing that she didn’t have to go to chemistry. All she need was for Mr. Vanzi to give her a lecture for not turning her homework in on time. All her troubles melted away as her knight and shining armor drew near her. It was Camerson. The only guy in this whole town who made her heart beat as fast as million pound weight being dropped to the ground. “Hey there Delilah.” His voice was enough to make any girls heart melt like a popsicle on the fourth of July.
He was tall and slender. Jet black hair that layed around his beautiful emerald green eyes. He was wearing gray skinny jeans and an Bullets for my Valentine t’ shirt, and red converse. “Hi” December let out a giggle that she wished she could have just swallowed down, but she knew that trying to swallow a giggle was like trying to dry swallow a big pill. “Did I ever tell you how pretty your eyes are?” Camerson smiled slightly as if trying to flirt but wasn’t sure quite how. December choked out “ Umm, actually I don’t think you have, thanks” December was blushing blood red. “It must be your yellow eye makeup, it really brings them out, I like it” Camerson smiled shyly. Then the first bell rang. “See you after class?” December managed to stifle out. “Yes you will.” December shut her locker and rushed off to class not daring to look back, if she did, she would be tarty.
Mr. Vanzi’s class had been brutal. December was just glad that it was time for lunch, fortunate enough for her she had A lunch with Camerson. She took her seat next to him and on the other side of her sat Hazel. Hazel was babbling on like a wild woman still about how her mom wouldn’t let her get pink at the tips of her hair. December was too busy mesmerized by Camerson. The way he moved his hands, the way he smiled, the way he laughed. She was falling for him, and she was falling hard. As if she was jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. Camerson had moved here about three years back and ever since then December was loco for him.
“How was chemistry” his voice danced like a butterflies wings towards December. “Brutal, with a capital B.” was all she got out before Kathrine sat down. Kathrine was breath taking. Her brown hair fell flat on her shoulders. She was tall, and had all the boys chasing her. She was really nothing like the rest of them when it came to style. She was more of a Ambercombie&Fitch kind of girl. Kathrine had been friends with December and Hazel ever since she moved here in junior high. She may have not dressed like the rest of them but looks can be deceiving. Kathrine listened to the same music, had the same views on life and the same hate for Chelsea as they did. December was just worried if Kathrine was going to use her charm to get Camerson, and she didn’t want that. Just as they had all finished there lunch the bell rang and it was time for December to go to her locker to get her bio book. She was always grateful for bio because that was the only class she had with Hazel.
She just did not feel like going to class. As the second bell rang she was strolling to her class and was looking forward to art with Camerson.

Introduction.

December 1, 2001 8:34p.m.
Dear Diary,
Something is strange about today. Like there
Is a fog of doom is what my mind keeps whispering to me.
I try to push it away but it keeps coming up as if it was a fly
That I just swat away. It’s not just strange as in freaky.
Something about how the wind blows. It blows like its angry.
Like its trying to find something, something it can’t seem to reach.
I know that I sound crazy but I can’t help but wonder if something
Really is going on. Its like some unknown power a very strong power.
I have been having these dreams about being in the middle of the
Woods at the end of town and I am just standing there absent minded.
Then winds blow up around me, my hair shielding my eyes to where I can
No longer see. The wind whispers in my ear, your time is here. And I
Always shout back time, time for what? But all this wind keeps telling
Me are things that I don’t come close to understanding. It says
Stuff like ‘finding yourself December’ and ‘life forever to find it’.
Well Diary, I will have to finish this for you some other time. Right
Now I am being summoned to get ready for school by my alarm clock.
-December Forkley.
